How to get here!
We are based in he XI region Of Chile, also called the region of Aysen.
Aysen is situated just North of Magellanes, the southern most region of Chile, also known for the Torres del Paine National Park.

Getting here by air:
By far the fastest and most comfortable way to travel.
The main airport is Balmaceda airport , a 45 min drive from Coyhaique.
There are 3 flights daily from Santiago to Balmaceda airport, with Lan Chile or and Sky airlines, and 3 flights weekly from Punta Arenas to Balmaceda (www.lan.com or www.sky.cl)
Flights from Santiago take 3 hours with an over stop at Puerto Montt.
We strongly recommend to arrive the day prior to the start of your itinerary.
Getting here by road.
The roads down from Santiago to Puerto Montt are in good conditions. Once in Puerto Montt you will need to drive to Hornopiren, board a ferry to Caleta Gonzalo and take the Caretera Austral to Coyhaique.
The Carretera Austral is a gravel single lane road. Although quite slow and difficult to drive, the sceneries are spectacular.
Getting here by boat.
A ferry links Puerto Montt to Puerto chacabuco, 70 km north of Coyhaique (www.navimag.cl) |
